Location

South and east of Unity off Hwy 26 is West Camp Creek Rd., which goes south and becomes FS Road 1680. Follow it south for five miles until you reach South Camp Creek. Parallel it for one mile then turn left at the sign into the campground. The 1.75 miles into the campground is well worth walking and birding June -August.

Directions

Habitat and Birds

Check each hummingbird as there may be Broad-tailed Hummingbirds here. There are good numbers of Flammulated Owls calling in late May into early June. This is a great birding/camping site that deserves your attention. Watch for amphibians along the creek and the wild flower bloom is spectacular in May and June.
