This site is wetland habitat with seasonal ponds. It was a good birding site in the 1990’s and early 2000’s, but has become “weedy” and overgrown, so the open mud habitat that was good for shorebirds has disappeared. It can be good during migration and in the breeding season for “open area” species – Western Kingbird, Lazuli Bunting, etc.
