Location
Big Cliff Reservoir is 18 miles east of Mehama on SR 22, just west of Detroit Dam and Detroit Lake. There are a couple of pullouts along the highway, but the best viewing is from the area just below Detroit Dam.

Open water with forested edges. Common Goldeneye, Bufflehead, Common Merganser and Lesser Scaup are common, and Barrow’s Goldeneye, Long-tailed Duck, scoters and loons can sometimes be found.
