Habitat and Birds

This is a nice area during migration. It’s a good place to pick up some county rarities. Warblers, vireos, Western Tanager, Northern Oriole, and others can be found here in spring and fall. Great Horned Owls use these trees to roost and nest. Watch for Greater Sage-Grouse on the way in. Northern Flicker, Spotted Towhee, and American Goldfinch are usually found here.
