Habitat and Birds

Habitat is a rural park with mixed deciduous and Douglas fir trees.  The park sits next to the Molalla River.  Summer birds here include Common Merganser, Spotted Sandpiper, Red-breasted Sapsucker, Willow Flycatcher, Cedar Waxwing, Black-headed Grosbeak and lots more.  Winter feeding flocks might contain Black-capped Chickadees, Golden-crowned Kinglet, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Brown Creeper, and maybe a Townsend’s Warbler.
