From Astoria, follow US-30 for 16-18 miles (depending on starting point in Astoria), at signs for Gnat Creek turn north (left).

Habitat and Birds
The forest has a mix of Alder, second-growth Douglas fir and Sitka Spruce.
Possible species, amongst normal Coast Range species, include Mountain Quail, American Dipper and Hermit Warbler.
