Location

Kent is located on Hwy 97 twelve miles south of Grass Valley, 20 miles south of Moro, and 38 miles south of the Columbia River. It is just over 50 miles north of Madras. Drive the streets of this tiny area looking for resident birds and migrants.

Good birds found here in the past include Swainson’s Hawk, Prairie Falcon, Black-billed Magpie, and Horned Lark. Large winter Horned Lark flocks can sometimes produce Snow Bunting and Lapland Longspur.
