Location

From I-205, take exit 24B to Airport Way E.  Go 3.2 miles and turn right onto NE Mason St.  There is a parking area almost immediately on the left.  There isn’t an opportunity to walk through the wetlands but one can view it well from the parking area.

Habitat and Birds

A somewhat surprising number of birds can be found here.  As of 2022, 133 different species of birds have been found here.  There can be a good variety of ducks and geese year round with more diversity in winter, swallows in summer, some shorebirds in spring and various passerines.
