Habitat and Birds

Specific locations within the Oakridge area include: The “industrial park” that has a couple ponds and lots of open brushy/grassy habitat, given that it’s an old mill site and doesn’t have much industrial development yet (2022).  The eBird hotspot link is https://ebird.org/hotspot/L8509114 Salmon Creek at the east end of town, but west of the industrial park, has nice riparian habitat with a trail along it. The eBird hotspot link is https://ebird.org/hotspot/L3363620 Greenwaters Park is along the Middle Fork of the Willamette River and has some nice open and forested habitats.  The eBird hotspot link is https://ebird.org/hotspot/L1154447
