Location

Waterman Road turns into Parish Creek Rd. at Richmond Road. This is 9.4 miles as you head north from Highway 26 on Waterman. Parish Creek continues for 17.6 miles until you reach Spray. From Spray, Parish Creek Road starts at the bridge crossing the John Day River and initially heads west before turning south.

Habitat and Birds

This is mostly forest habitat with Ponderosa Pines with some meadows and increasingly fields as you approach the town of Spray. Look for Crossbills, mixed flocks in the pines. Chipping Sparrows may be in the meadows.
