There is an outside chance to get winter finches like Snow Bunting or Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch on the mountain top in mid/late fall. In warmer parts of the year, watch for Mountain Quail, Sooty Grouse, Ruffed Grouse, flycatchers and the more regular forest species.
