Take the Nehalem Hwy (Hwy 47) east through town. It will go right by the lake. Turn off and park.

View the lake for migrating and wintering waterfowl. The Banks-Vernonia Trail goes all the way around the lake and a wide variety of birds can be seen from this trail. See the eBird list above.
