Join author Robert Macfarlane for an in‑person event on Wednesday, June 3rd, at The Belfry to celebrate his new book “The Book of Birds” and the paperback release of “Is a River Alive?”.

Robert will be in conversation with Lane Jacobson, owner of Paulina Springs Books. They’ll talk about the inspirations behind these new books, how attention to birds and rivers can change the way we move through the world, and what it means to write about nature in a time of ecological crisis. The conversation will be followed by an audience Q&A.

All standard tickets ($35) include one pre-signed copy of The Book of Birds, which will be available for pickup at the event. Purchase of a standard ticket includes the option to purchase a single guest ticket for $15.
