Oregon Desert Land Trust

Oregon Desert Land Trust is a local non-profit that is uniquely focused on conserving Oregon’s high desert, a region covering a quarter of the state and spanning more than ten million acres.

This region contains critical habitat for wildlife, offers abundant recreational opportunities, and holds a rich cultural history for Tribes and ranchers. ODLT’s and ECBA’s missions overlap in important ways, not the least of which is a passion to protect vital wildlife habitat on behalf of our wild birds and the places they need to thrive.

Volunteer opportunities are frequent, such as bird surveys and the recent “Burrowing Owl Dig” and knowing about these activities in advance is helpful to all of us.  Partnerships make us all stronger!
