Location
Located in Tualatin east of I-5 on the Tualatin River. From I-5, take exit 289 to SW Nyberg Street. Travel east on Nyberg for 0.3 miles and the road forks. Take the left fork onto Nyberg Lane. Travel east for another 0.3 miles and the park will be on your left.

This park has just about everything which is why it’s ranked 2nd in eBird’s county locations both by species number and checklists number. Large trees, open meadow with native grasses, the Tualatin River, small pond, and lots more.
Common year-round species here include Pied-billed Grebe, Green Heron, Red-breasted Merganser, Pileated Woodpecker, Anna’s Hummingbird, Chestnut-backed Chickadee, Bushtit, and Bewick’s Wren.
In the summer, expect Vaux’s Swift, Western Wood-pewee, Western Flycatcher, Cedar Waxwing, Black-headed Grosbeak, and Lazuli Bunting.
Winter brings Cackling Goose, many duck species including Wood Duck and Hooded Merganser, Bald Eagle, Golden-crowned Sparrow, and Yellow-rumped Warbler.
