The Boat Ramp is on Highway 218 just east of the town of Clarno and along the John Day River.
Habitat and Birds
The willows lining the river can be good for migrating birds. Osprey may nest nearby. Bullock’s Orioles, Kingbirds, Yellow Warblers, and Lazuli Buntings are here in summer.
