Location
From Sisters, travel south on Elm Street and leave the city. This road will become 3 Creeks Road or Forest Road 16. Go about 14.3 miles south of Sisters and you come to the parking area for the trailhead. Hike the trail.

This is a “bombed out” burn with little in it except the occasional Three-toed Woodpecker. This is one of the main areas to search for this species.
