Habitat and Birds

The grounds of this museum sport many large trees and smaller vegetation along Shitite Creek. Just about any passerine could be found here in migration. Resident Black-capped Chickadees are found here more often than any other Central Oregon location. Northern Pygmy-owl and Western Screech-owls sometimes patrols the grounds. Cedar Waxwings seem to be there year-round. The Rarities include Red-eyed Vireo and Purple Finch.
