THE THIRD TIME’S THE CHARM, at least when it comes to our long-awaited kestrel pair choosing our nest box.  The first year, a pair of Northern Flickers settled in and raised a boisterous, healthy  family.  The second year, the kestrels were in the vicinity, but chose a different location to raise a family.

Intermountain West Shorebird Surveys 

Dear Shorebirders,  It’s that time of year again! Spring migration is just around the corner, and the Intermountain West Shorebird Survey returns April 24th-30th! You are part of a regional shorebird conservation network with more than 300 participants surveying more than 200 survey sites in 11 states. 2026 is our last planned year of full-scale regional surveys so help us finish strong!

ECBA now uses Track it Forward to help volunteers keep track of volunteer time. Compiling the hours that volunteers give to ECBA is something that really does matter to all non-profits.
