1% For Wildlife Webinar (FREE!)
1% for Wildlife is a bill that offers a massive opportunity for wildlife conservation. It increases the tourism tax by 1.25%, and uses the funds to protect Oregon’s wildlife and their habitat. Currently, Oregon has no dedicated funding source for wildlife conservation, and 1% for Wildlife would fix that. Species like the Tufted Puffin, Grey Whale, and Chinook Salmon would all directly benefit from this bill.
Join us to learn more about the bill and how you can get involved! You’ll hear from Bird Alliance of Oregon staff: Joe Liebezeit, Statewide Conservation Director, Karly Chin, Advocacy Program Coordinator, Travis Koons, Wildlife Care Center Director, and Brodie Cass Talbott, Adult Engagement Manager – Statewide.
