Oceanside is a coastal community located about 9.3 miles west of Tillamook.
To reach Oceanside from the intersection of Highway 101 and 3rd St./Netarts Highway 131 in Tillamook, travel west on 3rd St./Netarts Highway 131 for 9.3 miles to the Oceanside Beach State Recreation Area on the left.
Oceanside Beach State Recreation Site (45.461118, -123.970302) is a no-fee state facility with parking, viewpoints, beach access, and restrooms
Three Arch Rocks NWR (restricted access) (45.464281, -123.984731) is an offshore rock with no access. In October of 1907, Three Arch Rocks NWR was established as the first National Wildlife Refuge west of the Mississippi River. Today it is the largest and most diverse seabird colony in Oregon. It is an important breeding site for Steller Sea Lions.

Three Arch Rocks NWR: Scope these offshore rocks for Steller Sea Lions, Seabirds, Peregrine Falcons, and Bald Eagles. The nearshore waters are good for all seabirds, including Tufted Puffin and Black Oystercatcher.
