At the December, 2023 board meeting officers were elected for the coming year:

President – Duke Tufty

Vice President – Brian MacDonald

Treasurer – Gordon Wetzel

Secretary – Wendy Andrick

New board member Margi Finch was welcomed, joining returning members Miriam Lipsitz, Laurel Collins and Aaron Jenkins. The Board’s annual retreat will be held at the Environmental Center on Saturday January 6, 2024 9AM – 1PM.

The next regular board meeting will be held Tuesday, February 13 at 6 PM. A Zoom link can be obtained by emailing ecaudubon@gmail.com

The Pinyon Jay

Here in Central Oregon, for over 10 years, ECBA volunteer Kevin Smith has invested his time and inspired others to report sitings of Pinyon Jays, and over the last 5 years Ken Hashagen, together with Kevin, have helped provide banding data to ODFW and the USGS Birding Lab.
